159 Sportwagon Base Engine: The alfa 159 sportwagon offers range of 6 engines three petrol and three diesel elastic, powerful and environment friendly engines. All the engines are matched with new 6- speed mechanical gearboxes, featuring precise engagement and shorter gearshifts.

These engines are the result of sophisticated engineering with outstanding performance. The three petrol engines (260 bhp 3.2 JTS, 185 bhp 2.2 JTS and the 160 bhp 1.9 JTS) gives guaranteed driving pleasure and performance.

They are based on JTS combustion system. Three JTDM turbo-diesel units (120 bhp 1.9 8v, 150 bhp 1.9 16v and the new 200 bhp 2.4 20v engine) are joined to get guaranteed excellent power & torque values in all driving conditions.
