The overall shape of the Alfa 147 was conceived to minimise drag while retaining all the ergonomic quality of the interior and the model's inimitable stylistic characterisation.

Brilliant roadholding comes from a perfectly balanced distribution of the vehicle volumes, achieved at the design stage. Every lineament was specially conceived to ensure sturdiness and agility, to combine a feeling of power with soft, streamlined shapes.

The slightly bulging wheel arches align the wheels with the end of the body, and a wide choice of wheels includes 16" and 17" aluminium alloy options mated to wide tyres.
